WOW!!!! Where have I been?!? I know we've visited this fine cafe, located at Galpin Ford on Roscoe since 1966, but why don't I remember it being THIS satisfying and delicious?!? Came in on a Saturday morning about 8am. One other booth occupied, but MAN did this spot get hopping soon after that! Hubs took advantage of an Early Bird Sunrise Breakfast, offered daily 7-9am. $14 got him 2 eggs, FOUR strips of perfectly cooked bacon, a side of his choice, be it potatoes a couple of ways, or fruit cup (OMG, did I just hear the words "fresh fruit, please" come from HIS lips???) PLUS coffee or tea! Looked DELICIOUS! I went off the menu cuz I was a cravin' smoked lox! What a PLATTER! My everything bagel was perfectly toasted and my large plate was FULL of Nova smoked salmon (@ least 6oz worth!), sliced tomatoes, sliced red onion, sliced cucumber, capers and chilled serving of cream cheese for $20. A BARGAIN! I was stuffed to my own gills and very satisfied! Mariangel, our server, was an absolute delight and the other staffers made sure to keep Hub's coffee topped and a cheery smile for all. The restaurant was as clean and sparkly as the day it opened. By the time we were leaving at 8:45, every booth was occupied and it was obvious quite a few people were regulars and the workers knew the familiar faces. I look SO to coming back again. Cheers! "CC"

Can't believe I've driven past this place daily and never stopped before! Came in for dinner and was pleasantly surprised, it definitely made me want to try more of the menu. This time, I went with the diner classics. The fries were incredible, and I keep craving them. The burger was great, but the club sandwich was my favorite. Everything tasted fresh, and the service was top-notch. Despite dealing with a difficult very demanding customer behind us, my server was amazing, huge kudos for the great customer service! I finished off with a margarita as my dessert, and it was fantastic. Plus, the old-school diner vibes and ambiance are unbeatable. Highly recommend this spot, and I can't wait to come back for breakfast!

Superb patty melt, Mustang burger and "Galpacino" iced coffee drink! Also great house made coffee cake. I have been driving by the Horseless Carriage for years and finally decided one Sat morning to stop in. Great service, nice ambience including outdoor seating. Highly recommended! We will be back!

First time here but not my last. I've lived in the Valley my entire life and never considered eating on a car lot. I've been missing out. My staple breakfast is always corned beef hash. I was very pleased that it was cooked to perfection and it comes with poached eggs! My favorite. I never asked for poached because cooks usually mess them up. Our waitress Maggie was fantastic. Sat us in a back room because we were celebrating a birthday. She even brought the birthday girl a free piece of cheesecake. Diner is fairly small. Or it seemed small because it was packed. Got there at 9am and pretty much every booth was taken. Parking was a little troublesome. I guess there's parking on the other side of the restaurant or across the street. I wasn't sure because it is a car dealership.

I've always wanted to come here and a friend of mine finally took me! Although their dining area and parking lot is small, we got lucky and came during non-rush hours. The service was excellent and the staff was knowledgeable. They have so many options to choose from that it was hard to decide what to order. The server was helpful in providing suggestions. Our dinner was delectable and I even had leftovers to take home. I heard their breakfast is a hit, so I can't wait to come back and try it. P.S Have you tried their waffles?? They melt in your mouth! Must-try!

Food was delicious and well done Services was a busy but other than that I love the vintage feel of this place Perks was that we saw Mr.Jay Leno having lunch here at this place..

Years ago when I got my Mazda I got a coupon for this restaurant but I foolishly thought that it's a restaurant in a car center they wouldn't have food I'd want to eat. How I wish I could go back in time and tell myself how wrong I was and use that now very expired coupon!!! I got the Club House on rye bread with fries, and my friend got the turkey burger with onion rings. My sandwich was perfect and the fries are basically PERFECT in seasoning, outside crunch, and inside softness. I WILL be getting these again. I tried my friends turkey burger however I personally did not like the marmalade onions, but the turkey burger was very juicy and thick. Aside from that, it was just tomato and lettuce nothing fancy. The onion rings were crunchy and amazing as well! Such a gem right under my nose that I should have paid attention to sooner and there are many more other items on the menu that look fancier, i can't wait to try it all!

Styled like an old 50's diner, this place was a convenient place to meet my dad for lunch. It's literally attached to the Ford dealership and I hear they buy you a free dinner if you buy a car. You can walk their showroom while you wait for a table. That kind of close relationship. Whatever, I was only interested in the food and location. We sat on the patio which was a mistake. We are both hard of hearing and it was too noisy between the loud classic rock being pumped from the speakers and the traffic noise of Roscoe Bl. Service was slow at times but the club sandwich and fries was perfectly delicious and affordable. They split the order for us and we both had plenty of food. I would hesitate coming back and grabbing a booth inside.

Wanted to grab a little brunch before heading up the 5 and yelped HCR since it was on our way. It's literally connected to the Galpin Motors, which was came as a surprise. There's a small parking area we parked at. It was pretty full on a Monday afternoon, but we luckily got an empty booth to sit at. Their menu is quite extensive, I felt like I was scrolling forever lol. We ordered: - iced cappuccino - fresh OJ (so good!) - pork belly benny w/ hashbrowns - yummy and rich, but disappointed in the small portion of hashbrowns that it came with) - chicken Parmesan (special of the day) - tasty, kinda heavy We thought the food was really good. Ended up switching plates halfway through so we could both get a taste (duh lol). The service we experienced wasn't as friendly as other yelpers mentioned, but found it to be just ok. Overall, a really solid spot for diner food!

I've heard about this place from numerous of people and neighbors which always were positive. I assume it's part of Galpin automotive as it's right infront of the dealership. It's a cute diner, a cross between Mel's diner and Johnny Rockets. There's also a nice outdoor patio. Just heads up, it does get pretty noisy as it's on a main street and traffic is around you. Service was nice when we walked in, we seated ourself. It didn't take long for the drinks to be taken but it was a little wait for ordering. Had to flag someone down to get their attention for that. Good didn't take long to arrive. They had quite a nice selection of dishes which I thought this place was only a diner that served brunch. Mimosa was nice, they even have bottomless. Breakfast was quite nice, the Cajun shrimp omelette was flavored nicely and pretty big chunks of shrimp. Service was nice. Staff were all friendly and food was great. Will have to come back for dinner.
